The cold mist brushed past my face as the boat scraped against the rocks beneath it. The lake took a magical appearance as the phosphorescence followed every movement my boat and stick made. Every dip my stick made in the water the phosphorescence  grasped  on. But all of a sudden it started to disappear as the moon glared over the lake and the smell of fish slowing lurked behind me.

It was a hot day when he reached the temple, he was faced with the smell of rot as he entered. The man  slowly walked through cautious of every step he took. The man held a book and a rusty old orange lamp. The book had a photo of what looked like his grandfather.  The book was full to the brim with information about the temple. The man was hit again with the smell of rot but even stronger. All of a sudden boom! a crash, the man started to follow the tunnel of which the crash came from and then he finally reached the entrance to golden temple. Cartel-Tadeo-Jones-Musical - LOBLANC

It felt like I was in an ice cube, the cold beneath my feet gave me shivers, the trees were dark and gloomy as if they had been burnt. It felt as if  I was stepping on clouds, every step I sunk into the snow.

My sword was as sharp as a shark tooth. It could cut through even the strongest of metals with a clean slice. My shield is as strong as a dragon’s armour. My name is Tom Trueheart and I’m here to defend.

The little shoe maker

The shoe maker was short and stubby like a thumb with a furry caterpillar just below his nose.

The shoes maker wore square shaped glass and a pale white apron. The shoes maker’s shoes could somehow make his shoes move. It is amazing.

One day a tall slim ginger-haired man came and parked across the street from the shoemaker’s shop and opened his own. The shoe maker was very upset because he was robbed of a sale, so he worked all night to create new shoes but little did he know the tall man had something up his sleeve.

The next day the shoe maker displayed his shoes but all of a sudden the tall man had all new shoes all ready displayed. The shoe maker was mad but also sad because he was losing business. He tried and tried and tried lowering his prices every time but again and again the man always had better shoes. His shoes were devastated when a lease from the building came, but they had an idea.

The next morning the shoe maker came out with a box and a lease that he was given for the building, he had a sad look on his face and as he gave the box and the lease to the tall man, the man opened the box and saw amazing golden shoes the man immediately put them on and smiled at them but all of a sudden the shoes had a mind of their own, they started to drag the man away as the little shoe maker smiled, court the lease and teared it up.

But it wasn’t over, there was another shoes shop coming and I wonder what the shoe maker will do this time…Littleshoemaker - THE LITERACY SHED
